The Sant Narcis school is, above all, a space of well-being and learning. Our main mission is to ensure that the children feel cared for and appreciated so that they can grow in a safe environment, accepting the differences and respecting the people and the environment that surrounds them.
We believe that students need to receive varied educational proposals that allow them to become an active part of their learning process. But above all, they need to feel that they can develop their skills, whatever they may be. People's intelligence is multiple, as demonstrated by the fact that in our society there are professions (all necessary) of the most diverse: cooks, artists, lawyers, carpenters, athletes, scientists, doctors, firefighters, teachers, electricians, journalists... And the list would be endless.
We must be able to exploit the potential of all pupils, to feel important and to have good self-esteem.
For this reason, the teaching-learning process at Sant Narcís School revolves around four axes:
PROJECTS – CHALLENGES – SPACES – SYSTEMATIC WORK
- PROJECTS
- CHALLENGES
At the Sant Narcís School, we love challenges, especially if they have to do with the scenic and musical arts. Theatre, music (and culture in general) are excellent tools to motivate students, attend diversity and consolidate effort, enthusiasm and solidarity as key elements to achieve collective objectives. Logically, through the challenges, we work as fundamental competencies
as linguistic or mathematical, among many others.

- SPACES
Since the academic year 2015-16, we have set up a system of groupings called Spaces where the students of three different courses are mixed, three large heterogeneous groups: groups of small (P3, P4 and P5), Media (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and large (4th, 5th and 6th). Twice a week, each large group is divided into five work teams, approximately, for a fortnight.
With the spaces a twofold objective is pursued: to learn competently among peers (but by mixing the ages) in a more playful and manipulative way and also to develop in a more specific way the basic competences of the field of education in values (personal, interpersonal and social dimensions).

- SYSTEMATIC WORK
The rest of the weekly hours are completed with the specialities (English, Physical Education and music) and with a systematic work of the instrumental areas, such as languages and mathematics.
